Do i stand a chance of 96+ UAI?

I go to a top 100 school. In 2002, it was ranked in the 70s and 2003, ranked about 60s.

These are my marks:

Subject - Exam Mark - Exam Rank - Course Rank

Physics - 71 - 5/53 - 13/53
Music - 95 - 1/15 - 4/15
English (Advanced) - 83 - 29/122 - 18/122
Mathematics Extension 1 - 99 - 1/56 - 2/56
Mathematics Extension 2 - 98 - 1/30 - 1/30

oh of course not, ur only in a top 60 school with marks that could be near the top of ur school...
I'm sure u'll only get 85.
*sarcasm*

... u will get 96 if u do good in the hsc.

wats so "not serious" bout that? i was actually being quite serious...

coz my physics and music marks and ranks r not good at all. I was worried that they could pull down my UAI.

and btw top 60 school isnt all that great, u know... many ppl here on this forum goto sbhs, james ruse and stuff - schools that r loads better than rank 60

i think yes

4u maths scaling may cancel out the physics, i think you should get 96+ if you do your best in the hsc exams

really?

i typed in marks for my subjects into SAM, and it seems like a little change in marks for physics equates to a very big change in marks for ext 2 maths. In other words, if i change my physics mark from 75 to 80, my UAI goes up a lot, whereas if i change my maths mark from 75 to 80, the UAI only goes up a little.

so i dont really understand about the "high" scaling of ext 2 maths, although every1 always talks bout it :)

But he's only doing 10 Units cant cancel any...IT REALLY depends on HIS SCHOOL'S AVERAGE in the hsc TOO! If his school's tests are easy then of course he will be getting high marks.

If you want a UAI of 96+ then of course you could but are you willing to put the hard work into it? Maybe the outcome more than you expected!! Maybe a 99+!
