99 UAI with band 5 english (1 Viewer)

Here are my results:

Advanced english: 85
3U Maths: 97
4U Maths: 92
Physics: 90
Chemistry: 93
Biology: 95

(Yes, I am a science nerd)

UAI is 99.20. I scraped a premiers award at least (Just.)

Yet I still got a uai of 98.4

My friend got nineties in modern and ancient history, anvanced english and extension 2 english (but not extension 1) and I still beat her. How does that make sense?

Now I hate myself for not doing Maths Ext. 2!

umm is anyone here stupid? How many ppl in NSW got 99-100 UAI does anyone know? Cos i reckon a lot of them have to be here. Will have to raise my expectations for next yr i spose

It's so retarded how all this scaling stuff works... and trust me, English has nothing to do with it - it's whoever did four unit maths that got scaled.

I got-

Ancient History: 95
Business Studies: 94
Economics: 97
English: 91
General Maths: 93
History Extension: 49/50

And I got 99.00... I know girls who had the majority of their marks in band 5's, but because they hit a low 90 mark in 4 unit maths, they got scaled through the roof, up to 99.6. How the hell does that work??

Wow, lots of people with 89 in English seem to be scoring Law-esque UAIs

Maybe we're after someone with a sub-85 band 5, clearly the higher band 5's can score a 99 UAI.

Yeh it seems to work out. One of my mates scored:

Eng Adv - 88
Music - 98
4U Maths - 96
3U Maths - 97
Eco - 93
SOR I - 41/50 (with absolutely no study all year...how does that work!?!?!)

His UAI was 99.55

Why did some people do 12, 13 or even 14 units? :S Some people who did 11 units struggled to have a life, so I can't even begin to comprehend how little free time one would have who did 12+ units and actually put effort in.
