Two of the ones I mentioned :) I adore the Book Thief so much. I like your book taste. Have you ever read Ishiguro's Never Let Me Go?
Is that the book the film was based on?

Noughts and Crosses the ending was terrible :'(

And April Fool's Day by Bryce Courtenay made me come pretty close

Yep, film was good but book was better.

I didn't like the end of Noughts and Crosses either.

Really need to get back into reading books.

Asterix and Son. Man, when Obelix is alienated by not only his entire community but also his best friend, I can't hold back my eye water.

A Dog of Flanders (I actually watched a film adaption of it when I was I kid, so not much memory of it.)

An Anthology of Chinese short short stories - "The mice are getting married" (It broke my heart at how innocent and naive the children were in this, even when this story was read under 20 minutes.)

If you're after another story with a dog then maybe you should check out Hachiko, the dog that continued to wait for its (dead) owner.

I only read some extracts of No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai, and rather than being sad, I just felt guilty, but meh, got over it now.

My first and only (so far) attempt to read Lolita. I was a kid and thought I'd just have to go to the first page to read the story, but no, it was an introduction.

Vampire books are a little @______@"

I really like "Gone with the Wind" !!!

It's like... suspenseful in the ending. At first, the main character isn't exactly likeable, but later she becomes more "human" and she grows up a little afterwards.

YEAHHH~~ :D
