Thanks, see a little help goes along way (especially if your lazy like mwa). Hey Rahul I'm using Visual Basic, but I might check out C++ when I'm all grown up and have money to spend on stuff like that (my copy of VB came free).

Hey c++ is free, Microsoft hasnt had the chance to taint it yet...
Check out borlands site for a free compiler...

for a goood * extremely good c++ IDE (and free, and non visualc++), get to www.bloodshed.net

I heard borland c++ compiler was very very fast.. (round 8 megs download) , but then you could also use GCC (gnu compiler collection).. theres a win32 ported one I think, its mingw, and dev-c++ uses it.

I recommend Bloodshed too. I've often felt like shedding some blood after those all-too common errors in C++ compiling.

Check out http://sourceforge.net for some programs you can hack apart for ideas.
