I'm a year 12 stuent and i just started this T-VET hospitality course. Just not sure if its gonna count towards my HSC or UIA or if its gonna effect my University life (if i ever make it there).

It does count towards your hsc as 2 units.

If you do the exam for the hsc then it goes towards your UAI.

Hospitality is a group B subject. If you do the hsc exam it turns into a group A which means it is counted towards your UAI like all your other subjects.

if you do over 10 units it might not count towards yr UAI, as was the case with me.

It would most probably count towards ur UAI if ur doing that many units.

Is there a difference between Hospitality operations (which im doin right now) and Hospitality Management? Whats is involved in hospitality management? Does the operation lead to management?

When you do hospitality operations, you can eventually do hospo management in tafe (and there is an ACTUAL hospo management course in UTS-kuringai or...possibly unsw I think).

Hospitality management in uni is fairly broad and doesn't just deal with kitchens and restaurants. It's the entire hospitality subject as we know it like tourism, casinos, cruises etc. It's alot to do with marketing and business...

yeah hosp will count towards your uai, although it didnt count towards mine as i did tourism at tafe as well
