A little help- "Contributions of Leonidas" (1 Viewer)

I've got this essay question and I'm having trouble answering it:

"Assess the role and contribution of Leonidas in the planning and conduct of the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC."​

Like I know all the information about the Battle of Thermolylae, but I just can't write a whole essay on the exact contributions of Leonidas- can someone help me with this? like give me an idea of what i can talk about? really appreciated.
