1) What would happen if you replaced voltmeter with battery. in galvanic cell consisting of Copper In Copper Sulfate and Silver in Silver Nitrate
(i wrote equilbirium would shift in reverse so Cu2+ +2e- -> Cu so copper metal would form...... also Ag+ +e- -> Ag so silver metal would form but im not sure if this is correct.... :S )

Thanks

Replaced voltometer with battery?

Then It would be an electrolytic reaction? Electrolysis uses an electron pump, which is the battery...?

Well, batteries provide a source of electricity, so it wouldn't really be a galvanic cell, because a galvanic cell IS a battery, and why would you put a battery within a battery?

@ OP: depends on which end do you attach the battery... it can act as a electrolytic cell (provided the battery offers high enough voltage) or it can accelerate cu and ag's redox reaction.
