Ya man, when i grow up im going to TAKE CHARGE of the fuckin education system and make it EQUAL for everyone, where EVERYONE gets the marks they worked for, whether state-topping or shitty. Its time to change the retarded systems that are in place.

Stop complaining about the system. You're ranked in your cohort and you get a mark that is characteristic of where you are in your cohort.

There's nothing unfair about it and you'll find out that your assessment mark is often only a few marks difference fro your exam mark. Last year, my MX1 was 45 internal and 46 external while my 2U was 94 internal and 93 external.

The only time it is unfair is if your school has retarded assessments that are not HSC-like which is another story.

Get over yourselves.

Lmaooo getting 1st academically is no problem...but u gotta take into account "favourites" (yes yr 12 does brink about some milking of marks) ... also like you said Somth1ng assesments may not resemble the hsc etc etc etc.
Therefore what we believe is that externals should hold the majority of your marks...not you cohort which u do not have control over.
