Good point. Who started the political shit. *Gives Bernie the death stare*

Maybe it had something to do with Stoddart whinging as well. Who knows.

Damn, ok, how about a ford instead? Pretty please, with a cherry on top?

My birthday is 3 days after the Australian round of A1GP! (9th of November).

I don't think 20 cents each day will be enough to buy me a Ford.

I read Stoddart might still be in F1, helping the Red Bull Minardi (or whatever the hell they call it) team.

What ever happened to those German Banks?

what german banks?

and who said it the 20cents/day was for you :) IT WAS FOR MY ICE CREAMMMMS :D

RBM...sounds like a cheap rip off of RPM (although one costs more than the real thing  )

stoddart is ok, but he complains about not having the finances, but is the owner...for fucks sake man! you OWN the team (now past tense, owned) so you should put more in, instead of buying $200million planes

Does the German one have a good website? I haven't been on it. I think I might rock up to the race wearing German colours like I always do :p

its a real shame that none of the current f1 drivers are in the A1, then we could see who really is the best driver, and not just the best team/car.

I could already tell you that one :D

damn ... A1GP doesn't even have live timing on its website. And results for practice and qualifying etc aren't posted until the completion of the race. Damn it! And they call themselves the world cup of motorsport! I can't fricken watch the stupid thing!

Why the fuck would F1 drivers go and drive inferior machines? You need way more than being a good driver to be the best in F1. Ultimately, you can be the best driver in the world, but the shittest F1 driver there ever was.

Wasn't I discussing that with braad yesterday, I dunno  But top F1 drivers would NOT leave F1 for A1GP. Drivers past their use by date eg: Firman, Verstappen, yoong and co would definately take up the opportunity to go to A1GP.
Although Firman and yoong weren't in F1 long.

Damn it! I want fox!! Would someone post the results up for poor Cat when they find out! Thankyou :) I don't want to wait for channel 10's crappy commentary.

of course f1 drivers wont go down to A1, the money and glory is all in f1.

besides i guess it is hard to decide who is the best driver in the world, its hard to compare open wheelers to touring cars and them to rally. it would be hard to find a medium that can give each driver a situation whrere they can perform their best. A1 is only really determining the best of open wheelers (and even that excludes f1 drivers). The Race Of Champions has a formula that somewhat levels the field but it will never be all equal.

The Race of Champions is probably the best comparison since they race both rally cars and this special "open-wheel" car and it doesn't seem that the rally car gives WRC drivers any advantage as Sebastien Loeb was getting beaten by Schumacher and Heikki Koveleinnen.
