Has anyone done STAT175 - gambling.sport and medicine..wondering what its like, easy, hard? same as stat170?

Also the unit ISYS114 does this involve computer programming? cause if it does probably wont bother.

I think STAT175 deals with more probability that STA170.

I enrolled in it first year, then withdrew....but the subject is still in my WebCT (without access though)

I've heard stat175 is the best of the STAT units.

Shows you how to clean up at Star City................I wish.....nah, what they actually teach you is how to maximse your chances in card games, craps, roulette, etc...and that the house is always the winner.

isys114 doesnt involve programming like c++

the most u do is 3 or 4 lines of sql code which just sorts data from a database (select where from)

Damn...we went way beyond that with Oracle when it was COMP114. Unecessary energy expended. *sigh*

i reckon. comp114 had so much more sql =/
but oh well.. i liked it anyway even though i was hella confused
