I was reading this and it reminded me of one of the most convincing arguments I've ever read.
WHY POTATO IS MORE ROMANTIC THAN ROSE!

well, there's a lot of reasons
i mean, roses only last like a couple weeks
and that's if you leave them in water
and they really only exist to be pretty
so that's like saying
"my love for you is transitory and based solely on your appearance"
but a potato!
potatos last for fucking ever, man
in fact, not only will they not rot, they actually grow shit even if you just leave them in the sack
that part alone makes it a good symbol
but there's more!
there are so many ways to enjoy a potato! you can even make a battery with it!
and that's like saying "i have many ways in which I show my love for you"
and potatos may be ugly, but they're still awesome
so that's like saying "it doesn't matter at all what you look like, I'll still love you"

My name is Marty.. I live in around Carlingford. I'm Eastern Catholic but I don't really practice my religion.
I only do Studies of Religion because they made us. If it were up to me, I'd be doing 3 unit French, another language like Spanish or something and 3 unit Modern/Ancient History.. stupid school. :( They don't offer French & Ancient history.. and Modern history was on the same line as Software Design and Development.. :(

Well anyways my subjects for 2007 -
Mathematics, Std English, Software Design & Development, Chemistry, Information Processes and Technology, Studies of Religion 1 unit. (11 units.. damn, I wish I could have done ext French..)
Favourite subject - Maths
Hated subject - Information Processes and Technology/Studies of Religion
Favourite fruit - probably (green) grapes or peaches. Plums, actually, green plums and red-blood plums.. mmm.
Favourite vegetable - mushrooms? I'd say olives but I don't think they're vegetables.
Favourite number - 1
Favourite sport - FOOTBALL! (soccer as some of you know it)
UAI aim - 95.

Learn something new everyday! Where does that expression come from anyway?

"Pigs, apparently, are pretty poor sweaters and in some breeds they hardly sweat at all. There's more, I also discovered that whilst hens don't sweat cows sweat better than pigs. However, the undoubted king of the sweaters it the Horse: were you foolish enough to ride one of these bare backed without serious leg protection the sweat would bring you out in a nasty rash where we humans don't like having rashes."
