AC Induction Motors (1 Viewer)

Ok im confused... can someone tell me how to find the direction of the current induced in the rotor bars (the Al or Cu in the squirrel cage rotor) of an AC induction motor.

Use the right-hand screw rule.

i have... bt never the 'right hand screw rule' as stated above... however for an AC induction motor the rule is used differently to find the direction of the current.... it is this that i would like someone to explain if the can...
