Has anyone done either of them? I have to do one of them and was originally planning on doing 353, but I've really only heard bad things about the subject.

Anyone know much about either of them?

Same boat as you, doing them next semester. Reading from past threads seem accg353 eaiser and i know people who has done 352/353 all said 353 eaiser. But, after looking through both unit outlines i think 352 would be a better option and more related to 329 practical wise. Since i'd 329 this semester might as well do 352, also finals only worth 40% so pretty even out not bad.

Ahh yeah looking back on older threads it looks like people were saying that 352 is quite hard, but the final exam only being 40% is pretty sweet though.

And you did 329 this last sem? I did too. How did you find it? I actually thought it was quite hard but ended up going into the final with really good marks. Then again I found it interesting so I didnt mind putting the work in...

Yep, i'd it this semester. Thought the unit very interesting, tho i hated topics on wiener process and Itō's lemma (haha). Finals and practise exam about 80% similar think, wasn't that bad. And only 1 sub greeks question, haha just like what the people in older 329 thread said.

353 extension of 253 and 352 relates more to 329. Also 353 advisory/MA and 352 fund management, career wise.

Hmmm well I hated 252(/253) and quite liked 329 so yeah I'm gonna change 353 to 352, it even uses the same textbook as 329 for half of the course i think
