Is anyone else finding it hard to find good cheap accomodation for sydney uni? Am I in some sort of fantasy land when i think that i might be able to find some cheap accomodation? Neone got ne tips/ ne one want to go halves/thirds/quaters in a place?

Depending on what i get im also looking for a place in sydney to share, city will be too expensive- like right near the city u'll have to pay at least $180 for 1 room- decent room. So yeh im thinking the burbs are the way to go.... what do u all think. Good idea though we should all look togther for a little house or something and rent in 3-4 rooms.

Im into heavy metal music and yah i listen loud not earth shattering loud tho. Im not from sydney, so im thinking of defering and going to my local uni for a year, and then coming to sydney. I dont want to turn into a vegetable and only work during that year i defer! Is this possibel?
