is there free parkign when u stay on campus?

you get a free residential permit to park at the on-campus accomodation site, but you would have to pay $100 a year if you wanted to drive the 1 km to park in the car parks near your class every day. So unless you are chronically lazy, there is absolutely no point in buying a university parking permit.

Meh, I might just live with my parents till I find someone I like to share somewhere with. I don't mind the free house/food/washing/carpark etc. The only problem is the whole girls thing. But I'd assume the girl would have a house, or a roomy back seat.

my suggesstion is don't newcastle has the worst drivers i've seen. yes that includes sydney drivers and american drivers.
