My friends and I want to go on a mini schoolies trip in Sydney and stay in a motel, however none of us have credit cards to book with, and we aren't allowed to use our parents cards.

Can you just rock up to motels to book in, and pay via cash?

Also, they will require a deposit.

you can get debit cards linked to your savings account that also have VISA on them. but they arent 'credit' cards, you dont get in debt, they work just like your normal savings account debit card, but you can use them where they allow for visa, and you sign receipts like you would for a credit card etc.
St George is prob the bank with the best VISA/debit card :)
