yeah, theres heaps of ppl i know who are techinically skilled but can't sight read for anything, or just aren't 'musical', if you know what i mean.
i started off doing accompanying at my primary school choir just coz i wsa the only one who could (i was in grade 5!), and that became accompanying at the junior and intermediate choirs at my current high school (still accompnaying this year), and for other people's assessments.
sightreading has always been my favourite part of learning piano. after hsc im going to be offering my services for all, so i guess its having fun and getting paid at the same time!
