Accounting Work experience (1 Viewer)

Im a 2nd year Accounting student

I want to kick start my career..the first thing I want to do is atleast get a work experience at any accounting firm. Ive applied at places but havent got a position yet..

Any tips on how to get work experience at an Accounting firm?

Maybe someone could hook me up with one?

You're looking at this the wrong way. It's much more likely that you'd be able to get experience doing accounting work for a small business... e.g. I worked in a cafe and after a couple of months started doing bookwork 1 day/week

Also, summer internship applications close in July!
