im out on my UNADJUSTED trial balance.... firsrtly.. they dunt even balance... secondly im out on ur figures by like.... 60 bucks :|

could someone please post up their a/c rec, a/c payable, cash at bank, purchase discounts, purchase returns, sales revenue and inventory accont balances for the UNADJUSTED trial balance?!

i got 1,308,192 and for credits 1,307,392 :|

so yeh u can understand my pain.... PLEASE HELP!!!

could someone please post up their answers so we can compare... i got 84 in accounting mid semester :$ if that helps :$

ok scratch that seems that sales saleries is 617 not 720 (hehe did it quickly) so i got 73112.. i seem to recall someone saying they got 71112... i think they stuffed up the insurance aye? cuz its 4000 not 2000...

post em up regardless so we can discuss them yeh?

or also i just realised it could be the store supplies thing they got wrong :S or i got wrong :S (mine doesnt seem wrong but regardless..yeh)

i got 2700 debit to supplies exp and 2700 credit to store supplies

Currently, my adj is 75121 but this is definately wrong. I've discovered a few errors today.

i got 1333 544... for adj trial balance.. :S

i feel this is incorrect.. i just did it quickly as possible...

someone clarify a figure.. im thinking 1 333 564...?

Absolution did you leave bad debts expense blank or did you get 7000 ish or whatever for unadjusted balance cause as far as i know there are no bad debts expense transactions before adjustments ??

Well i got the same adjusted trial balance figures as you except for sales discounts [10302] (and mine isn't balancing by 100 on one side)
Oh and my cash is off as well. Time to double check!
Well it balances i guess its irrelevant how we did cash/sales discounts anyway.

My unadjusted trial balance is identical to Absolution but the differences are:

Cash at Bank: 63214
Accounts Receivable control: 31600
Sales discounts: 10388

^^ Those are figures for the adjusted trial balance? Why is cash different, I though adjusting entries never involve cash?

Those figures are unadjusted trial balance.

Can someone tell me their amount for accounts receivable subsidiary ledger. i got 31050 and it doesnt match with my accounts rec. control account which is 30500.

Make sure you post the general journal adjustments to the control account.
