Meh I'm just confused here, so help me out because I feel 'teh stupido'.
Asking art teachers is just stupid so i'm asking you gorgeous arty people.



Q: BOW + Exam = External Assessment?

Cause if not, that's three things to figure out... Internal, Exam and BOW.

[Meh i'm just worried because SAM predicted me a UAI of 79.90... some of these marks were unknown so I estimated]

Internal Assessment:
Development of the BOW (50%)
Art Criticism and History (50%)

External Assessment:
Submission of the BOW (50%)
HSC Exam (50%)

Yes it is 50/50 - BOW/Exam

But etc. etc. etc. you can not think of it in 25% blocks..

Your internal mark will be compared with your external mark and an aligned mark so formed, e.g.
Internal = 84, External = 88, Aligned = 86

(But your aligned mark will depend on your rank and how your peers go)


Don't worry Llama, I SAM'd what I think are my internal marks and got a UAI of 77.45 - but I'm not worried as I know there is alot of stuff that goes on in the background both internally and externally that affects aligned marks (the one that contributes to UAI) - DONT GIVE UP

Found out today that I ranked 3rd in my grade for art here's hoping for a band 6!!!

I got ranked 2nd in my class (out of 10 or 11 girls) by only a few marks. Totally bummed.

Fingers crossed for band six too!

Failed. Got 37/50 for my paintings in the internal mark because of my medium, while some guy who did a line cartoon involving stick figures got 44/50 because it was technically "graphical design", not drawings. This is so friggin bullshit.
