Advanced Languages - How hard are they? (1 Viewer)

I've just enrolled in International Studies and am considering starting at the Advanced Italian level as I have a very good understanding of the language. If I undertook HSC Extension Italian and covered the tenses which are taught in the Advanced I level do you think I would qualify? I'm having an assessment over the phone on Monday. Anyone been in a similar situation?

I know when I started Int Stud (I did ext German @ school) i had to start at intermediate German....and 1st semester was basically continuers whilst 2nd semester was a bit more than extension....but advanced isnt that bad...especially if u know the language already!
