im sooo keen 4 this cruise i can not wait gunna be the time of my life...meet so many ppl
Do they care when ppl go bak into the room where they r not stayin...like guy n chick? or they sweet bout that? Do they care bout ppl have sex n shit?
im goin on the 9th so it should be great fun

assuming u mean security... no they dont care... we just got hasseled for sitting in the hallway and drinking... once ur in ur room u can do what u want they have no control. its like ur own home haha they arent even allowed in... and why would they care about fucking... everyone knows schoolies cruise = sex... lol ur young adults i think ur sweet to make ur own decisions without a parental figure there

hay all you partay peeps that went on the cruise. most of my mates on the crusie will b 17 only 3 of us will b 18. how can u get alcohol that kinda sucks, i read here that u have to drink in the room. is the security that tight, do they ask u for i.d?
cause wow thats gonna suck how else am i gonna put up with a bunch of bitchy girls is it just as fun without it??? plz write back... megan

i'm in the same situation. actually, i'm going with 3 friends, and they'll all be 17. thats actually why we chose the cruise. so they could at least get into the club

I went last year while i was only 17 and it was easy to get drinks, just give money to ur mates n wear chunky bracelets on the wrists that all the 18oad overs are taggged with. the security that are hired are especially for skoolies so some of them dont care. they dont ask for id, they just wanna see the wrist band (which was orange for mine i dont know bout anyone elses.

to be honest, you could get into big trouble for drinking without a wristband. or you could just get told not to do it anymore, it depends on the security guards. i saw a guy get taken out of the bar for underage drinking, he got lead off by two decurity guards.
i dont get it guys, why take the risk? just drink in your room and when you go out have a sip or two from a mates drink. its not worth getting caught and spoiling your whole cruise.

good idea man dead set.... the guards cant even enter ur room. haha u can fucken smoke bongs and all they can do is stand at the door and call a steward... who is a lil 150cm tall 55kg bali slave haha (but i loved our one) and he will just come in and tap-sum-bong with ya anyway haha

I'm going on the 9th of December cruise and I'm so pumped (especially after reading this thread!!!). There's about 20 people from my school going... It's going to be sooooooooo fkn fun!!! Can't wait to meet new people and all that...

I hear that most schoolies on the cruise put on like 5 kilos whilst on board... By the sounds of it - that'll be me... hahahaha Just can't wait! It's gunna be so surreal on the 9th.

I also heard some rumour that the time of boarding and departure have changed... Can someone please correct that for me/tell me the times I have to be there, and when we ship off? Thanks in advance.

i got my tickets on the 30th of october and im goin on d same cruise as your goin woo woo lol..umm on the info they include wit ur ticket...it says that the ship will be at pier 8 darling harbour (the overseas passenger terminal if i remember) and boarding starts at 3pm..boardin closes at 6pm and the ship leaves at 7..hope that helps:wave:

1) do they have dealers at the casino?
2) how long did you spend on each island? is it worth doing extra activities?
i wanted to go jet skiing but i dont have a license, what's the go with that in new caledonia?
3) whats the story with id, i'm 18, but i dont like the idea of holding id in my hands for the whole trip.. will security follow me back to my room just to make sure?
4) what kind of clothes did you bring, did you bring heaps?
5) did you swim heaps?
6) i dont sleep much at all, were heaps of people roaming the deck early morning, i.e. 5 am?

Hey i was just wondering if there is like a laundry or like something happening on the ship just thinking about what the go is with clothes as well is there like a certain dress for the clubs or can u just walk around the boat the whole time in thongs?

yep thongs are fine. in fact its fantastic because it is the only time you will ever be allowed to go out anywhere in thongs..

even on the formal nites, we wore proper shoes until about 11.30 then went and swapped for thongs.

1. the only time i went into the casino was to buy bingo books so can't help you there

2. most of the islands the boats start taking you over around 9 and you need to be back on the ship around 5. it varies though. most importantly, the best island is the isle of pines. make sure you spend the whole day there!!

3. before you get on the ship they have security people who if you are 18 you show your passport to and they fasten to your wrist a band that shows you are 18. your card will also remain uncut. thus once on board id is not necessary.

4. yes i bought clothes. a suitcase full.

5. tropical islands = swimming. the pools on the boat are a bit rank but i did have a dip and a go on the waterslide.

6. yes lots of people will be around at 5am. the earliest i went to bed was around 4. most nites we all stayed up to watch the sun rise.
