So i've finally decided that i want to do one of these two degrees at sydney uni but im having a hard time deciding between the two.

Would anyone studying either of these two be able to give me a brief insight into what these courses cover and which is better (or how i should choose) ?

Also what does adding an option to a degree entail. Such as when it says Civil (Structural) or Aeronautical (Aerospace). Reference to these particular options would be helpful as im looking at both of them.

Thanks in advance for any help

Degree Programs in detail - Civil Engineering - The University of Sydney

What is the difference between our streams?
All students do the same selection of core units of study during their degree to gain a breadth of competency in the various fields of civil engineering. Within streams, students choose different elective units - similar to a major or a specialisation. For the first 5 semesters all single degree students cover the same content. It is not essential to pick a stream or specialisation when starting, and students can change streams during their degree provided they meet certain requirements.
