mmm yeah i played rm for a while as dm gets boring. me and friends used to play every game type imaginable, and i picked it up easy so i can pretty much play any map type, i was almost top 30 for dm, i did beat people in top 30 meh. but i was real good at boats....
dm boat war was prolly my best map even though i played arab dm most.

i just hate the pricks that were in dm, alot of the rm people are actually quite nice except they all lacked logic in conversations -_-

a guy that was in my class but left is one of the top50 legends of dm

i use to hate dm boat wars, a million boats, everyone lags and as usual you get some noob on yourteam thats doign stupid shit instead of fighting.

i use to like dm in aok. the sole reason i dont play dm on aoc is cuase people use seige. these was like an unwritten book of dm rules in aok. for example siege wasnt used, max 5 trebs, no trebbing military units. and some more.

speaking of any map, who played michi games. i stay away from them, as each one leads to a 3-4 hour game and usually my team loses.

not from my experiences...and i knew a fair few good players in rm

I prefer rm over any other type... more finely tuned stratergy is applied in managing ecnonomy and army =p

haha I watched this game from bout 2 years ago of one of the best players in the world, funny strategy. Gonna have to try it one day see if it works for me.

btw, how we gonna do this tourney? some ffa maps? 1vs1 round robin? team games?

Personally, I'd want this setup:
Random map.
standard
random land map (yeah I hate water battles =p)
size to reflect players, i.e. tiny for 2 players, small for 3
standard resources
standard starting age
200 pop
conquest victory
reveal map on the standard setting
and teams locked checked...
