Sorry if this has been mentioned, but ive received an offer and accepted it. As i still want to see if I will get any other offers that might interest me does that mean i can move the preference down on my list and it will all be good now?

if this offer is from UAC for an earlier round: yep - u have 2 hours though if u want to be considered for main round

if it was just from a uni saying 'if u put us first ull definitely make it, we'll accept u' (which happens for engineering, i know) then u still have to put it first

then after main round offers come, u can go fo late round

u could have 3 offers on the table

At 9pm logon to the UAC website and check if you have received any main round offers. Alternatively, you could wait until the next day where they will be published in the The Daily Telegraph and SMH.

I don't know myself, but they will give you instructions on how to accept.

Actually they are published in the papers. Happened last year as well. Basically you'll get a letter sent out to you on the 22nd telling you what you need to do to accept your offer.

This may entail either going into your desired university and enrolling in person (eg. USYD, Macquarie) or enrolling online (eg. UNSW).

Usually you should accept your first offer, just in case you don't get another offer from your 2nd preference. That way you don't have to worry about not being enrolled at all. If you want to get another offer in the 2nd round, rearrange your preferences to what you want, but make sure you don't lose the first offer

nope. you'll be considered in the late rounds for all the courses you preferenced above the one you were offered in the main round, regardless of whether you accept or reject your first offer.

not unless you rearrange your preferences to put other stuff above your main round offer. (i think that's how it works.)
