i need help with studying chemistry .. =/
i've been jotting down notes from my textbook, syllabus and teacher and memorising them and doing practice formulas with electron config, lewis dot structure etc.. but the thing is when i tried answering the questions in the conquering chem textbook i seriously couldnt do the questions like the ones like mixing two substance finding the mass and stuff TT" .. so im worried if im studying effectively?

There is no "right" study method. You should employ whatever study method that suits you. And you can see whether it works or not just by looking at your results and perceived amount of work...

If your mark isn't great with a lot of hard work...it probably isn't right for you.

EDIT: I think your study method is quite good. But that's just my opinion. Everyone is different.

I think you might be talking about gravimetric analysis?? Its probly because, your shcool teaches in a different order then conquering chemistry, and thus havent covered the course. You should try and learn from the book if you still dont get it.

Your method of learning is fine, as long as you get good marks in internal tests. Assuming that school will teache you everything in the syllabus.

So year, from what i am reading, your perfectly fine.
