Yes its Al Gore talking about our climate.

No it's not as boring as it sounds.

See it. I got moved. I'm literally thinking heaps about my whole perception of life right now. Literally. No I don't mean I'm going to be a tree hugger but I'm definatley thinking.

See it see it see it see it.

As a film, I wasn't happy about Al Gore's personal touch to it when he talked about his life, the election etc, but I quickly grew to appreciate it. What did everyone else find with that approach? It got me by surprise actually.

I also learnt a lot. I for one was one of the people who was sucked into the idea that scientists debated on whether global warming was really an issue. I was also sucked in with the idea that some of these processes might be cyclical and natural...

Highly persuasive. It made such an impact on me.

I enjoyed the movie. I would much liked to see him in person, give the entire presentation. Such a shame he wasn't elected.

I'd recommend the movie to anyone who is thinking about watching it.

Summit at USyd eh..

It wasn't as earth-shattering as I thought it'd be, but I was pretty shocked by some of the things he had to say.... though I'd already seen most of them in the trailers already! I actually fell asleep during the first 15 minutes of it but it got better... And I agree with what you said in the spoiler, Stef... it was a bit "wtf" but I didn't mind it too much.

I think its accessible and fantastic and that everyone should see it.

I tried to write an article for the uni newspaper on global warming and failed miserably because I couldn't describe all the causes and effects in laymans terms (prob because I didn't understand it well enough myself) but this film was so easy to understand.

Highly recommend it.

was a pretty good movie but after about the third "guess what, according to this graph we are all screwed" it started to get a bit repetitive.

Al Gore seems like a bit of a fundamentalist Christian knob.
"I'll make a movie starring me! Then people will take me super serial. Excelsior!"
