Failure to consider another perspective
eg. the house of julia felix accounts for the ability of women to gain status/wealth/power through enterprise. It does not account for the second-rate role women played in social life (such as separate seating at both Pompeii and Herc ampitheatre).
Historiographical issues
eg. garden of the fugitive was reconstructed in a manner that best appealed to tourists' romantic idea of the past. The narrative of the remains being that of fugitives is completely fabricated.
