hey there, im totally stressing beacsue i have been given a question in an assessment research thingo and it says:
using ur knowledge that velocity = distance/ time, derive a formula for angular velocity of an object in centripedal motion with a radius of r.
I know several equations for this but which one and how do u 'relate formulas'?
i would be really really grateful for anyones assistance as it is confusing the bejesus out of me!

The angular velocity that you're referring to is also known as "uniform circular motion" and is circular motion ith a uniform orbital speed. It's equation is:

Fc = mv2 / r

Where

Fc = centripetal force (N)

m = mass of object in motion (kg)

v = instantaneous or orbital velocity of the mass (ms-1)

r = radius of circular motion (m)

I don't think the syllabus expects us to know how to derive this formula, but you must be able to apply it to a problem. I hope that helps. :)

LOL I wouldn't blame you. As soon as I'm done I'm forgetting everything.

The main reason why the physics hsc course is now less mathematical is so to encourage students that aren't mathematically talented to undertake the course.

How can you label 'mathematically talented', you don't even need to be 'mathematically talented' to do MEX2.

I was just making a point :p, but yeah, physics used to be a very mathematical based, and people that dont like maths or aren't good at tended to stay away. Now more than half the exam is writing short answers and mini essays.
