It's bloody hard to get access to anime and manga here. and when there is access, it's always really expensive.
Since I came here I don't follow the anime & manga scene anymore.
I just buy my manga whenever I visit my home country (Indonesia).

and i fink anime is japanese katagana for animation

I think Anime is only for Japanese animation.
Manga is for Japanese comic.

Has anyone seen Bay Blades on cheese TV?

It is, hands down, THE MOST TERRIBLE cartoon ever. I mean, come on...spinning tops?!!?

Yeah well i haven't actually seen the cartoon but i have seen the beyblades toy...the whole spinning tops idea is pretty crazy. Did u know it won best toy of the year award for 2002??? But we really can't talk coz i rememba lotsa weird yet simple crazes around when i was little.

I love anime and manga. But manga's too expensive to buy, so I just get it for free off the net.

And like someone else said, there's no good anime in aus. But I've noticed that it's getting easier to find movies and stuff...

Yeah, the manga price here is definitely out of my league. Last year I went to this manga/anime shop in QVB and I bought an Evangelion graphic novel (which is practically manga) and it was $40.

I reckon Cheez TV should play Card Captor Sakura. It's pretty cute. I like most anime by CLAMP.

I really hate it, they have created a world in frenzy over such a trivial concept - Spinning tops in giant arenas? Other thnigs which make it blow:

- the holographic creatures which don't do anything
- the way opponents dress up to intimidate when really they are just playing spinning tops. Like me wearing a bear suit when i play a game of chess.. it's stupid.
