What's a good free antivirus software I can use with regular updates?
I think my computer has been infected with a virus because it's not allowing me to browse the web with either IE or the AOL browser. The IE browser keeps giving me a ''Not repsonding'' message whilst AOL just automatically switches itself off. I've ovbercome this problem by using System Restore on XP...LoLz...Thanks. :p

The AOL browser ? Having once been a user of AOL, a virus is the least of your problems :p

I'd say AVG, but plenty of retail scanners like VET / Mcaffee are just as good if you want to buy them. Norton is good, but too much of a system hog to recommend.

I'm not sure about the older versions of Norton but the new ones are huge resource hogs.

I like Trend Micro Internet Security, though you have to pay for updates. That AVG one looks interesting, i might check that out.

Trend Micro gets my vote... but they want money now so I will try another one. Norton really sucks, it hogs up your computer resources
