So I took two computer science classes last semester when I was doing arts to see if I could do programming. Turns out I was really good at it and got the results:

INFO1103 - 77% Distinction (last semester)
INFO1003 - 78% Distinction (last semester)

I transferred into BCST this year and my current results look like (I am excluding exams):

ENGG1805 - 74% Credit
ENGG1801 - 86% High Distinction
MATH1001 - 72% Credit (will fail due to exam)
MATH1002 - 85% High Distinction (will probably pass)

I'm wondering if anybody else has failed a junior maths unit and how did you recover? I'm kind of afraid that I won't have the brains to pass second year maths or the really tough programming units.

I work as a web developer and I've scored high in all my programming classes thus far, but I'm just afraid maths will fuck me up.

You realise you don't even have to pass the finals for MATH1001 and MATH1002 to pass the subject overall if you've done decent in the quizzes unless they've made some changes this year that I'm unaware of.

Pretty sure you don't need 2nd year maths (unless if it's discrete mathematics)

Hey, I thinking of doing this course (normal, not advanced) can you tell me how the course is? Are you doing the normal or advanced stream of the course? What maths did you do in HS? Will I survive since I only did 2 unit?
