Any details about 2021 4u math new syllabus? (1 Viewer)

Well I am currently a year 10 student and my friends from year 12 have told me some informaton about the change in syllabus... basically what they said was, it will become harder in the new syllabus.
The new syllabus will be put into use in 2021 if I am correct, that means, I will be one of the first thousands of people who will use the new syllabus if I wanna do it in Year 12. I heard that there will be less germotry and more algebra stuff... is that right?
So i wonder if there is someone who knows some generous changes in the new syllabus, like what topics will be removed and what topics will be added.

Year 12 4U(OLD)

• Complex Numbers
• Polynomials
• conics
• Integration
• Volumes
• Graphs
• Mechanics
• Harder Extension 1 Topics

What they literally just renamed a few topics, and added a bunch of Linear algebra. I don't think the difficulty will really increase..
Regardless adding Linear Algebra to it is great. It's a pain learning it all in first year.

In some ways, I think, the new 4U will be easier. The Vectors part should be relatively easy.

I'm a bit sad to see volumes go, since it's the only topic where students really understand what an integral represents: a sum of its infinitesimal parts.

It's easier. They removed some of the 'useless in real life stuff' (like conics and circle geometry) and included some stuff that will help more in first year studies. Most of it stays the same. They removed two of the free-mark topics though (conics and volumes), both of which were really quite simple but kinda fun to do.
