hey ever1 i have a speech for english that i gotta do but i have no idea where to start.

This is the question:
Imagine that you are a writer that has writeen a book on a journey to the places mentioned in your favourite texts. you muct give a 4-6 minute speech at the book launch explaining:
i) The powerful techniques used by your favourite composers that motivated you to go on the journey
ii) What they say about the journey
iii) How you found walking in their footsteps
You must use at least 2 Skrzynecki poems from the prescribed list, one text from the stimulus booklet and one other related texts

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

4 to 6 minutes? That's a pretty lenient time-slot... we usually get a certain number of minutes (e.g. 3 minutes) and then get a 15-30 second lee-way, depending on the subject.

I won't actually study Skrzynecki, so can't help you there, but there should be plenty of notes in the resources section. Also, deciding what your other texts will be, might be helpful. :)

I shall help you with time management during the speech. ;)

If you want a good mark, aim for at least a 5-6 minute speech. I suggest about 30 seconds for both the intro and conclusion, leaving you with 4-5 minutes to spend on your texts.

For the 4 texts, i would suggest 1 minute to 1 minute 15 seconds on each text, which means you will need to be efficient and answer the question concisely.

In terms of content, i can't help you since i also don't study Skrzynecki's poems.

I hope my time advice helps. :)
