co-op refers to scholarships offered by UNSW, for the opportunity to work with companies and study at the same time

there's no interview process for actuarial itself, though for co-op there obviously is.
its more based on your math mark than your UAI, since you may have the UAI (the UAi for commerce), but may not have the math mark required

something like 185/200 for 3u and 4u combined?

excluding all unsw coop courses except BIT, unless you are seriously short on cash and books to read, there's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't come to the UTS BIT course, in comparison it contain much more functional learning materials, a short period of commitment plus a lifestyle to match.

*this is not a paid advertisement for the UTS Bachelor of Information Technology course

p.s.
if you slack off in coop unsw u r pushing urself out the door,
if you fail an exam you are kicked out of the door,
if you try asking for re-admission...you will probably asked to pay your money back

just a note of interest, bcoz there r naturally coop drop outs, and by tat i do not only mean academic drop outs, there maybe suitability, avaliability etc drop outs, there are possiblities for alternative entrances to the program. As to the shortlist, i believe a list of all applicants are kept each year and are used in the future for reference of alternative entrants material, so even if you miss out on the first go, never stop trying, coz u certainly won't get it if you don't try
