ohh watch aleks fight..very one sided match..pele was jus sittin dere nd receiven blows..top fighters say aleks has heavier punches den fedor..but ofcorse he aint as well rounded

Yeah that reversal was great, although everyone is getting all annoyed about Fedor grabbing the rope, it's not as if he wouldn't cain Lindland on the ground anyway.

And what about that armbar? Geez, I swear Fedor almost snapped Lindland's arm in two

I think that Cro Cop vs Gongaza will be pretty similar to Cro Cop vs Nogueira, just with one crucial difference... Gongaza doesn't have Nogueira's iron-cast jaw. I really don't like Gongaza's chances, but after GSP vs Serra, anything is possible I suppose. Gongaza could probably work something out from the ground, if he get's there... which might be a tad hard considering Cro Cop's takedown defence.

Bleh, who am I kidding, Gongaza is going to get his head torn off by the left high kick.

not only does gonzaga not have nogueiras jaw..but i dun think his submission game comes close to rodrigos...it was a shame cro cop lost dat match to nogueira he was clearly dominating him da whole fight but dats mma 4 u..nethin can happen...

especially recently da mma rankings hav gone crazy...guys r comin out of nowere...sokodujo aint evn ranked inda top 10 yet he comes outta nowere nd beats rogerio and arona by knockout inda first round, den u had da average ufc fighter nick diaz come and beat numba 1 takanori gomi den u had da recent diego..nd last but not least gsp vs serra..lucky we hav fedor as backup loll i was countin on him 2 end da upsets..nd he neva fails me lol

yea crocops takedown defense is i believe clearly da best inda game...its gonna clearly be knockout first round..den hes facin couture...i beleev he has a 6 fight contract wid da ufc...afta dat im hopin for fedor vs crocop 2

Yeah true, all of these upsets lately have seriously destroyed any ability I thought I had in predicting MMA match ups .

Fedor vs Cro Cop 2 would be amazing. I would really be torn in that match though, I wouldn't know who to cheer for!

Also, where are you taking SAMBO?

yeaa dats tru..da way crocops bein goin lately, from his grand prix win...hes much better and well fedor is jus fedor lol so yea dats gonna be a hard one

well actually atm im doin nothin..jus studying and training by myself..i gotta home gym so i jus do cardio, conditioning, strength training and rounds onda heavy bag etc..

actually i havnt found any sambo clubs in sydney..a family fren from britian used to teach me, he was a sambo intructor in england so yeaa dats were i learnt most of it from nd every now nd den i get som stuff from da net etc

Uechi Ryu Karate do heaps of conditioning. We have a whole kata where you get hit in stomach, legs, chest, lats etc. Alot of people that fight professionally in kickboxing/muay thai have a karate background. The Australian Muay Thai coach is form Uechi Ryu.

it was a nice fluke..hope everythin goes steady from now..i dun like too many upsets too quick lol

ohh and did u c elvis sinosic's fight..im gonna train under him soon..he lost but had a good fight

Yeah I saw that fight. He almost got a few arm bars from the guard, but that ground and pound really started getting to him. That's cool that you're training under him, you'd learn some damn awesome BJJ skills from him.

Is anyone going to the ISKA BJJ comp this Saturday over in Lidcombe? I'm thinking of going with another guy from my Judo club.

u sure its on saturday..i thought it was sunday, but yeaa i dun think its a bjj comp...its got heaps of oder stuff like forms swordmanship etc etc..but dey got a ju jitsu part...maybe im talkin bout da wrong comp

but yea do u kno how much da entry cost is 4 da one ur talkin bout?

Aha, yeah I meant Sunday. Yeah my friend and I are entering the continuous sparring comp - whatever that is, and the BJJ comp. Should be fun. About the entry fee... not sure, my friend paid for us. All I know is that now a late fee is applied if you still want to sign up.

Hey, I didn't end up going I screwed up my wrist in randori on Saturday X|. My friend still went though, hope he's doing okay... he's actually a beast so i'm not too worried .

I train Judo at the Usyd Judo Club. Great place, if you can't find Sambo then Judo is always a great alternative

Yeah I did. That that was an awesome right hook, right on the button. I guess it's 2-0 to Rampage now. I really want to watch the Parisyan vs Burkman fight, from what i've read it was really good.

Oh you know of Kristof? That man is a machine... I swear he doesn't know the definition of pain. He actually made me feel like less of a man haha. I don't know too many of the senior members of the club, but i'll keep a look out for him.
