n = c V
m = n M

n is the number of moles (mol)
c is the concentration of the solution (mol L-1 or mol / L)
V is the volume of a solution (L)

m is the mass of a substance in grams (g)
M is the molecular weight of a compound/substance (g mol-1 or g / mol)

To calculate the volume a gas of a certain molecular weight occupies at a certain temperature and pressure e.g. 1 mole of any gas occupies 24.79L at 250C & 100kPa.

V = MVM
