Because unfortunately, the effort you'll have to put into learning and using something as "basic" as PSpice might be worth it. In my opinion you would be better off emailing your tutor asking for a correction if you're wrong or attending a consultation. These programs aren't flawless, the last time I looked PSpice doesn't have a built in component for ideal transformers, and you have to fudge one up yourself.
If you are dealing with state equations, Laplace transforms, system stability, or other things you can get away with using MATLAB for other matrix algebra programs instead. They would be more common and easier to get a hold of too.
