to those who dropped from advanced to general:

im sure you will be happy with your decision come november. i did advanced in year 11 and hated it. got 24% in the yearly. i dropped to general and ended up with a band 6 result. comparing the exam to the advanced exam, general scaled pretty well. better than expected anyway. only 2.9% of general students got into band 6 where like 18% of advanced students got into band 6, so if you got a band 6 you should be very proud.

i really need to start working in general maths lessons... we all bludge so much! all we do is sit around discussing our (lack of) love lives, and planning our weekend, with various excuses of why we are not doing work...

You don'tr have to do that much work.

They give you a sheet of formulae in the exam and all you need to know is how to apply it.

hey everyone,
i wrote before explaining my situation with my maths teacher...anyway i just wanted to say that she now comes to class with knowledge hehe yay! so yeah i'm actually learning. i even got back my marks for a recent test and i came first!!! omg yeah i was stoked!! looks like i will have a good year afterall
hmm anyway just wanna say goodluck to those who have their yr 12 exams next week mine r real soon and i cant wait (only coz i have 5 free days then 2 weeks holiday!) ciao everyone

we have four exams worth 25% + hsc exam.

Ok, then. My last name is McDonald.

I always get 'can I have a cheese burger with extre fries' or 'do you want fries with that'.

It gets really annoying after a while.
