Yes. I do. I mean, I used to.

Sure they are quicker and easier to read.

I remember those pop-up books, talking books, "read and feel" books and etc etc.

Some of these books sound familiar but I've forgotten what they're about.

My favourite is "Oh the places you'll go" - Dr Seuss
:) It's awesome.

also high on the list...

Where is the green sheep? (it's cute...)
The Red Tree (Not actually a childrens book but it's bloody good)
Grug books
and, of course, Angelina Ballerina.

Colin Thompson's books. I've searched for ages for his picture books- he makes houses out of books, with really intricate designs and little details, like silhouettes of dogs in yellow windows, but i can only find his novels!!! *cries*
And Graeme Base, especially Sign of the Seahorse.

Seriously... I love kid's books. My sister is in Year 2 so I have a great excuse to read them all the time. Sometimes when I don't have much work to do in my study periods I just lay down in the library and look through some kids books. There are many great ones but my favourite has to be Graeme Base - love them. And yeah, I want to be a primary teacher, so I don't have to worry about not seeing these books again. I'll also take the ones I have at home when I leave (we have many, many, many great books!)
