Well, I've got the plan for my MW in my Mind's Eye...

All that's left to do is write like an insomniac demon until Tuesday.
Holy fuck... Are you serious or is this some sort of joke? Are you saying you've only started writing your MW just now?

If so,then I lift my hat to you... Good luck.

Ahaha... well, I had an old idea to begin with... had the first draft written out and everything. Then I had to abandon it, because it was going nowhere

The current idea I'm working with was only hatched 2 months ago, at the earliest.

Man, if I was in any position to drop this, I would have done so AGES go.

If you had an entire first draft complered, then surely it was going somewhere.

Maybe I'm just too much of a perfectionist, but I was unsatisfied with it and had very few qualms about dumping it.

UPDATE: about 3200 words of draft. Only another 1300 to go!! (Since I'm doing a critical response... if I was doing a short story, the 6000-8000 word limit would steamroll me.)

You're completely crazy. I could almost believe it if you were doing a short story, but a CRITICAL RESPONSE? I was daunted by that when I had 10 months to complete it. Hence why I did a story.

I will hail you as a god if you get a decent mark :p GOOD LUCK!

Fuck yeah, i'm 4800words into my short story first draft. Tonight and tomorrow to finish it, edit it to perfection, doctor up one year of journal entries and write the all important reflection statement.

Easy as pie.

The reflection statement has badly stopped me in my tracks. Basically, if i have to write something that isnt a creative piece, my heart just doesnt go into it and i procrastinate. This sucks as its worth half your external mark.

same as pointy ears. I'm totally stumped by the reflection statement, partly because my MW is pretty simple in concept.
My teacher said it was worth a quarter of external marks??

^^nope.
I'm confident that it is worth HALF. Scary stuff. Wish i had finished my MW earlier, which would have enabled me to start the RS earlier. God i hate reflecting. I would rather have the markers try and interpret it themselves :D
But yea, i think that too many ppl have put too much precedence on the actual MW and less on the RS.

Our school made us write a Reflection Statement due at the beginning of this term, so that's one less thing I gotta worry about...

Of course, the fact that I had to write the Reflection Statement with my Major Work word count on 0 made it a little difficult to write...
