Yay, I talked about colloquial language!!!!! The other one I said because I could think of anything was the detailed description of locations and items brought which created vivid imagery or some crap like that.

Excessive Verbs indicting excitement of journey in paragraph one

Hyperbole inferring the negative consequences of journeys, the "dying of thirst within sight of your car" thing

Descriptive language in the description of the car crash, drawing you in to the action so to speak.

Colloquial language and first person narrative increasing authenticity.

etc.

Same thing. Well similar.

Colloq. is basically an imitation of informal speech, while slang is just an informal term for something.

Ugg, i said the repetition of "twist" was used to show his try-hardness of trying to sound Aussie. More formally than that, tho.

i forgot to mention that it was a narrative, or colloquial
or most of that

i just said it used techniques to make it a realist depiction, such as suspense, emperical data etc

i didn;t really break it downas far as you guys did

u reckon it will matter

I didn't, :(. Meh, I had repetition and amplifying the repetition (like saying the car skipped then rolled, did a twisty airbone roll etc).

Personification of the car.

Some other crap.
