Hi Everyone,

i am looking 2 trade in my PS2 and 46 games for a PS3. its an old PS2 (ie. not the slim 1) and here are the games: (they are all in good condition with instruction booklets)

How much do you think i would get 4 them? just a rough guess would b fine.

That's quite a collection....
EB used to have an offer of $400 off the cost of a PS3 (and Wii too) for 25 games and a PS2 console with controller traded in...
Not sure if they still have that though.
Personally I think your best bet would be to try for deals like that, and then sell the other games for reasonably high prices (not sure how much you'd get) on eBay.... you'd just have to push the 'great condition, perfect for the kids for christmas' angle... otherwise im sure you can trade in at other stores... maybe...

do u know what kind of prices JB hiFi give for games? the other thing is i cant b bothered selling on ebay bcoz its too much messing around. btw for everyone this bundle is for sale on the "sell" thread.

Pretty sure JB Hi-Fi have a list of games they will and won't accept for trade-in. Maybe print off the list and ask in-store?

I work at EB, and at a guess, I'd say you'd get anywhere from $250-$400 for all of that.

At a quick glance a lot of your games won't even be valued, or at most $1. But you're definitely getting ripped off at EB. They won't trade it for much value. Should try to Ebay them, should get $500+ easily.
