AOS Text: A VIDEO GAME? (1 Viewer)

Newer video games convey intricate storylines and i would say some have movie-like plots.

I'd like to hear all your thoughts on Studying a video game as a text for Year 11?

I think its both great and appealing. Wonderful idea.

But

I dont think they have video games listed in the HSC as a text. So, I don't think it'll prepare the students well enough as say, a novel or poetry would (seems to be popular in the HSC AOS texts).

If this is for your AOS and your inspired to use a video game in your analysis consider doing it in your creative writing piece. As far as I can recall you can't use it as an extra text for essays.
