Right, we've done appeasement this year. So I just thought I'd ask to clarify, an area of debate would be about Hitler's intentions to create the war; e.g. hitlocentric v. revisionist viewpoints etc, that's acceptable in the exam right? Because it's not directly examining appeasement, but rather Hitler's own intentions in causing the second world war

It has to be off the syllabus I think, so yeah you could probably get that under one of the areas:

– the origins of appeasement and relationship to earlier policies
– British and French approaches to appeasement in the 1930s
– international reactions to appeasement in the 1930s
– appeasement and the origins of the Second World War
– the extent of the successes and/or failures of appeasement.
