My friend changed from biology to physics 2 weeks ago. Try asking the deputy principal or advisor or whoever is in charge.

This probably isn't going to help, but it depedns whether you can work to catch up those 1/2 year of physics learnt.

hmmmm.... okay.

but, my other option, and i know this sounds real mean, would be to somehow ask someone in charge if they could talk to our geo tacher and ask him to actually teach us something, or get another teacher who knows how to teach it ti take over our class, cause i know theres at least one teacher who is qualified and geography...

urrrghhh!

this is all so confusing!

Well i changed subjects from economics to fench yesterday and they'll let you as long as you demonstrate that you'll be able to catch up with the work you've missed and that you have the ability.... Good luck

You definitely have enough time to catch up on the content if you work reasonably hard...go and talk to your director of studies/deputy principal or whatever to see if they'll let you. However in terms of being able to catch up on the work...you can as long as you put in a reasonable amount of effort. It won't affect your hsc in any way as the hsc topics are quite different.

And physics is awesome!!!

I really wish I'd changed from IPT to Chemistry, or Visual Arts to Physics. :(

It'll be sure as hell difficult to catch up on all the work and assessments I think, but good luck to you, shaaali, if you end up changing!

Don't we all? All I can say is that goodness I can drop it after next term and concentrate on failing Maths instead of failing Maths AND Chemistry.
