only two more days...
i thought my script was right length
now keep getting contrasting opinions on how long (roughly of course) a page of dialogue is- latest info is 2mins a page... i was told 1 min/page was for tv scripts
this means mine is tooooo long!!

what has everyone else done?

It varies a lot for film/TV scripts, but usually one page = 1/1.5 minutes. But you can't really say that, because one page could be five minutes of dramatic pauses, while the next could be 30 seconds of speed-reading. Your best bet is to perform it how YOU think it should be performed - just get someone to time you as you do the actions and say all the lines. If you're only a little out then don't worry about it - that's the beauty of script, it's made to be read, and everybody reads differently, so you can never really be wrong
