so how many did you get for the holidays?

I got one research task which is also an exam for legal worth 20%
An english advanced assment worth 10%
and an extension english task worth 20%

you?

ive still got one more week of school left and my geo, bst, legal, english and drama teachers have all said that we are getting work to do over the holidays- they arnt ass. tasks as such but just stuff to help keep us out of trouble

Prolly. I just cant imagine any of the girls in my grade doing anything which would result in any jail sentence....but i could always be wrong

whatever you do, make sure you get them done straight away...last xmas my chem teacher gave us a research task to do (it wasnt an assessment, she just wanted to see how we were going) and we all forgot, and then we got back and she asked for it and we all looked at each other with blank looks on our faces and she gave us one of her 'come on guys' speeches

i have no idea how this is relevant to ass. tasks in the hols...but just think about the chirssy prezzies u could get with $50000 being spent on you!!!!

What do you have to do? I had one worth 10% (which l have already done) and it was a transcript on an interview about Chaucer

well this will be our second english assessment and it is on the area of study.

We have to use one text from the stimulus booklet and additional texts and we will be asked a question on the day and we have to answer it in that form. For example a feature article or a letter or a diary etc

I hope its a feature article

how is it fair you people get tasks worth 10%?? the least we got for english was 15% (they were for the reading/v.r./speaking/listenning tasks-the half yrly n trial were both 20%)

Our Oral task was going to be worth 30% - the highest. the tecahers agreed that they would spread the assessments out more and made one 20% and the other 10%

What class are you in? Standard or Advanced? That sounds easy-ish. Like l said we wrote a transcript-1000 words...it was pretty easy.

Our first assessment was a speech and a writing task on the area of study, that was worth 20%

Advanced english <i>is</i> easy. I looked at last years assessments the school set year 12 and its not a big deal. so yeah. I plan to work more on ext 1 english and 2
