ATAR Estimate Please (For a Yr 11) (1 Viewer)

OK I'm in year 11 but if I can maintain these rankings and do pretty well in the externals what am I looking at:
English Advanced: 12/155
English Extension: 25/99
Mathematics: 57/142
Society and Culture: 1/9
Software Design and Development: 1/14
Information Processes and Technology: 2/9 (but HSC already completed in Yr 10, HSC Mark of 93 [Exam Mark = 94, Assessment Mark = 91])

My school rank is 52 based on the SMH top schools of 2012 rankings.

I won't hazard a guess at your final ATAR.
But regarding the IPT, that would scale to about 82/100 for the purpose of calculating your ATAR. A scaled aggregate of 410 (five times 82) gets an ATAR of about 96.
HSC marks which also scale to roughly 82% for your other subjects are:
English Adv: 89
English X1: 90
Maths: 91
S&C: 91
SDD: 92

So if you think you'll get roughly those marks, you'll get around 96 ATAR. If you are expecting to do better in those subjects, then your ATAR should be higher.

Thanks for the reply braintic, 96 seems like a pretty good result. My marks atm in yr 11 (hopefully going up) are:
English Adv: 94
English Extension: 80
Maths: 87
SaC: 100
SDD: 92

So if I can prop up English Extension and Maths to at least 90, I might be looking at 97 or 98?
