Hey guys could you guys estimate my atar. I'm hoping for an atar of around 99+ or 99.5 to be exact. Is it possible?

English Advanced 3/20
Biology 1/14
Chemistry 1/15
Physics 1-2/20
Maths Extension 1 1/10-12
Maths Extension 2 1/5

School rank is around 300-400s

look your coming first in nearly all subjects, so you definitely can get 99.5, but the problem is that bcuz your school is ranked so low we cant really judge how good you really are until you do your externals, but if you work hard you will definitely get 99.5.

however make sure your 1st in english as well

Btw guys, say if i were to drop down a couple of ranks for english say like 5th/20. Is it still possible for an atar of 99?

^Possible but not likely at all. With your school rank to get 99, it's best to be be 1st or 2nd in everything.

well its probably best you stay in the top 3 bcuz you only have 20 people doing it, at my school we have 250 doing it lol.

Hey guys, just wondering if an atar of 90+ is achievable.

My subjects are;
Ext1 Maths; 80ish rank 3rd
Ext 2 Maths; 60ish rank 4/4
Eng Adv; 90 rank 1st
Legal Studies; 80ish Rank 2nd
Physics 80ish; Rank 2

Id love to get into international studies at usyd, but the cut-off is about 95.05. So should i still put that down as a preference.

Shit. There goes any satisfaction I felt. If 300 is average, coming first in a school in the 600's would be bottom of the class :/. Although our year group pretty much kicks last year's ass
